IGNOU Bachelor Preparatory Program Admission, IGNOU BPP Admission, Eligibility, Courses, Hall Tickets, Result, Grade Card:

The Indira Gandhi National Open University has introduced the Bachelor Preparatory Program (BPP) for those students who do not have 10+2 or equivalent qualification and want to pursue the Bachelor’s degree. These candidates falls under the Non-Formal stream and they have to study and complete the Bachelor Preparatory programme to qualify for admission in graduation degree.

To get admission to IGNOU Bachelor Preparatory Program, the candidates can get the prospectus  from the nearest IGNOU Regional Centre by paying a small amount of fee. The prospectus can also be ordered by post by sending a demand draft of Rs. 250/- in favour of IGNOU, New Delhi  to the following address : “REGISTRAR, Student Registration Division, IGNOU, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi 110 068”.Also, it can be obtained from IGNOU ARMY, NAVY, AIR FORCE AND ASSAM RIFLES Recognised Regional Centres. The soft copy of IGNOU Prospectus  can also be downloaded from the university official website : www.ignou.ac.in

The IGNOU Bachelor Preparatory Program admission eligibility and other conditions to take admission in this programme are mentioned below :

  • Medium of Instructions : It is available in both English and Hindi medium. So, the candidates who do not know English language can also take admission in BPP.
  • Eligibility: There is no as such formal qualification required for admission to this programme,
  • Course Fee:  The total fee for the course is Rs. 1000/-. (Note: The University will keep changing the fee from time to time and one will have to find out the details from the Study Centre/Regional Centre.). The additional fee charges may apply as per University norms.
  • Programme Duration and Age Requirement,: The minimum duration required to complete for this programme is 6 months and the maximum duration for this course is 2 years. The minimum age required to pursue the BPP course is 18 years but it has no maximum age bar  to get admission.
